Meet the New Digital Product Manager, Madison Dyson.

We're thrilled to introduce Madison Dyson, our latest addition to the Ramtech team and the dynamic force behind our digital innovation as the Digital Product Manager.

Hailing from the United States, Madison not only brings boundless enthusiasm but also a brings a wealth of experience as a graduate of the Halma Future Leaders program. In this engaging interview, we dive into Madison’s journey and gain insights into her vision for digital innovation at Ramtech.

How did you find yourself in Nottingham?

After graduating in 2021, I had the opportunity to participate in the Halma Future Leaders (HFL) program, which took me on a global adventure. The rotations through various companies led me to the UK, and during my time here, I realized I wanted to live abroad for a more extended period. That’s when Ramtech entered the picture through Halma, and after a visit, I was convinced it was the right fit. The welcoming and supportive atmosphere here made the decision to move abroad an easy one. Nottingham, though initially unfamiliar, has turned out to be a delightful surprise, and I’m eager to make it my home!

I’m particularly excited about focusing on REACT, Ramtech’s real-time notification system. The potential it holds to revolutionise safety in construction is truly captivating. The fast-paced digital world, the two-week sprint cycles – it’s all fascinating.

Reflecting on your experiences in the HFL program, how have the diverse rotations shaped your approach to your role as Digital Product Manager at Ramtech?

The HFL program was a series of sprints, pushing me to learn quickly, take action, and embrace failure as part of the learning process. It instilled in me an agile mentality, emphasizing the importance of getting stuck in, showing up with humility, and a willingness to learn. These principles have become second nature and profoundly influence my approach at Ramtech.

Now, as you step into the role of Digital Product Manager, what aspects of leading digital product initiatives are you most excited about, and how do you plan to leverage the skills refined during the HFL program?

I’m particularly excited about focusing on REACT, Ramtech’s real-time notification system. The potential it holds to revolutionise safety in construction is truly captivating. The fast-paced digital world, the two-week sprint cycles – it’s all fascinating. The uncertainty around REACT’s future adds an exciting element, and I’m eager to progress the offering while ensuring it aligns with customer needs. My HFL experience, emphasising effective communication and stakeholder management, aligns seamlessly with the responsibilities of this role.

On a more personal note, can you share a fun and surprising talent or interest with your Ramtech colleagues?

Away from the digital realm, I’m an avid camper, hiker, and road-tripper. I’ve driven coast to coast in the U.S. twice, exploring 35 states and 19 national parks. From high-altitude camping to encounters with bears, I’ve had some unforgettable experiences. Now, I’m eager to explore the landscapes of the UK, starting with the Peak District and the Lake District. Recommendations for my next adventure are always welcome!
