Ramtech to Put Site Safety First at CES Las Vegas 2025

Global wireless solutions provider Ramtech is set to demonstrate its capabilities on the global stage – as it prepares to exhibit for the first time at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

A leading pioneer in wireless safety technology, the firm will be showcasing how its digital-led applications are helping safe lives and enhance protection on temporary construction sites worldwide. Its leading product, the Wireless Evacuation System (WES), is now used in more than 30 countries worldwide, spanning continents such as North America, the Middle East and Europe.

Most recently, the system, which provides wireless fire detection capabilities, twinned with its rapid response alert system REACT, was utilised on the transformative 1.5 million sq. ft. mixed used-development, Hudson’s Detroit, working closely alongside contractor Barton Malow. James Pecz, head of global business development at Ramtech, said: “Over time Ramtech has accelerated its positioning within the digital safety solutions market to be trusted by some of the biggest names in construction worldwide. “We provide a pre-emptive response to the threat of fire and other occupational safety hazards on construction sites, such as lone workers and water damage. For too long the industry has relied on outdated safety methods such as air horns or foot patrols, which simply cannot be everywhere at once, or can be drowned out in noisy environments.

Over time Ramtech has accelerated its positioning within the digital safety solutions market to be trusted by some of the biggest names in construction worldwide.

“This show represents the scale to which the construction industry is waking up to putting safety in technology’s hands and taking a developing interest. Human intervention and management are of course important, but twinned with wireless devices, sites can be protected 24/7, and crucially, provide an alert in site managers hands through a mobile application, which could make the difference between life and death.” Since its formation in 1990, Ramtech has scaled its digital solutions to cover a comprehensive range of construction environments, from heritage and industrial sites, to airports, underground tunnelling and even military bases. In 2021, it was acquired by Halma, a global group of life saving technology firms. The group is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 100 Index.

The Orama Group is underpinned by an ethos of accelerating digital safety solutions. Collaboration fuels development, and Ramtech is a key part of creating value and opportunities for customers worldwide.

A year later, Ramtech joined forces with Hyfire and Argus to form the Orama Group – combining the expertise of industry leading wireless solutions providers. Giorgio Koursaris, director at Orama Group, said: “The Orama Group is underpinned by an ethos of accelerating digital safety solutions. Collaboration fuels development, and Ramtech is a key part of creating value and opportunities for customers worldwide. “We’re absolutely delighted to be heading to Las Vegas for CES, where attendees can see first-hand how Ramtech’s digital applications can protect workers and mitigate disaster on temporary construction environments.”

Ramtech will be exhibiting within Tech East, LVCC, North Hall, Grand Lobby and Level 1 Meeting Rooms — 8240 at CES. CES 2025 will take place 7-10 January at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.
