In a purposeful stride toward environmental stewardship, Ramtech has successfully implemented solar panels at our headquarters. This groundbreaking initiative underscores our steadfast commitment to environmental sustainability, establishing us as an industry leader in progressive and responsible business practices.
The solar installation, featuring an impressive array of 59 individual 455 W solar panels, signifies a substantial leap forward in our approach to energy consumption. Projections estimate an annual output of 22,900 kWh, marking this venture as a cornerstone in our company’s dedication to meeting energy needs through sustainable means.
A defining feature of this initiative is the direct powering of our office with 17,170 kWh of solar-generated energy, showcasing a significant reduction in reliance on conventional energy sources. The meticulously designed solar panel installation aims to cover approximately 50% of the annual energy consumption at our headquarters, seamlessly aligning with the broader mission of promoting environmental responsibility and reducing our company’s carbon footprint.
Beyond powering operations sustainably, the solar panels have the capacity to contribute surplus energy back to the grid, with an estimated 5,730 kWh available for distribution. As part of our holistic sustainability strategy, we have introduced electric vehicle (EV) charging stations at our headquarters.
