Ramtech awarded top fire safety honour
Ramtech has successfully taken home one of the top prizes at the Security and Fire Excellence awards following a lavish ceremony at the London Hilton.
The win follows a successful year of continued research and development (R&D) progression at our company, with the first installation of the WES3 integrated Intelliclad solution celebrated by judges as one of the defining moments for the fire sector in 2021/22.
Scooping the fire hardware/software vendor of the year award, the WES3 fire safety solution was spotlighted for helping remove the huge costs associated with on-foot ‘Waking Watch’ patrols, which were implemented as safety measures following the devastating effects of the Grenfell disaster. Intelliclad, which delivers a 24/7 emergency response in the event of a fire, was praised by the erstwhile minister for building safety and fire, Lord Stephen Greenhalgh, following its debut residential installation in Croydon last November.
Elsewhere, judges noted the huge progress that had been made operationally within Ramtech, with distribution now set up in more than 15 territories across the world. Backed by the support of Halma and the recently formed Orama Group, we are set to extend our scope, ambition, and wireless innovation even further.
Commenting on the win, global marketing and business development manager James Pecz said: “This award comes at time of significant evolution in the Ramtech business. Our solutions are becoming smarter, more efficient and solving ever-changing needs within construction, industrial and leisure environments.
“The sectors we work in have been typically slow to embrace the innovation afforded by technology, but we along with our clients are starting to see the huge progress being made with some iconic projects across the world. The Intelliclad solution, alongside WES3, is just one example of this, which is helping replace an outdated method of manual safety patrol, which not only poses safety risks but also costly inefficiencies for businesses. We’re delighted to have been recognised for our contributions to fire safety over the past year and look forward to helping improve fire standards worldwide.”
